What's New?

Due to federal changes, Carroll students are not able to travel outside the semester the Global Education Course CCE is held. Previously, fall CCEs would travel over winter break. That is no longer allowed. For fall, there is not a break long enough for travel to occur during fall semester, so only on-campus and local options are available. A Winter term Global Ed Course that travels is possible, however, it would occur during j-term, which is the 2 weeks before spring semester begins.

  1. Starting Fall 25, all Global Education CCE options in Fall will NOT travel. They will be on-campus and local options only.

    • Previous travel was over winter break. This is no longer allowed.

  2. Winter Global Education CCEs take place during j-term, which is the two weeks before spring semester begings.

    • It is possible to have a travel option for winter, but unlikely.

    • Typically, there is one on-campus course offered during winter

  3. All Global Education CCE Spring travel will take place during spring break. No travel will happen after the semester ends.

    • This means that for spring travel all documents such as passport photo, medical health statement, and all other post decision materials will be due before the end of the fall semester.

  4. Payment will still be due 30 days prior to the trip or for those that do not travel, 30 days prior to class starting.

  5. If you need to travel outside of the semester, please look into taking a Winter or Summer CCE.

As things are being adjusted, please continue to check in and make sure you have the newest and most up-to-date information. We will be updating the information here as soon as we have it!
